Hirva Anwesha Infratech Limited achieved a major milestone by successfully dismantling a 10,000 MT double-wall Ammonia tank with a suspended deck, using the highly specialized reverse jacking method. The operation involved 62 hydraulic jacks, each with a 12-ton capacity, ensuring precise and controlled lowering of the massive structure. The dismantling began with the cutting of a single shell plate from the outer wall, followed by the inner wall, after which the jacks were installed to gradually lower the tank by cutting the bottom shell plates. This innovative method was first applied to the complete removal of the inner wall and then repeated for the outer wall, marking a safe, efficient, and technically advanced execution of a highly complex industrial dismantling project.
